So how did she pull this off?

The method consists of Dara’s three Holy Grail Curly Hair Products (placed in a triangle shape. ) Her goal was to make things as easy as possible and get good curls while doing it.

She even named it her “Holy Grail Curly Triangle.”

Holy Grail Curly Products Needed:

Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl Boosting Mousse

Kinky-Curly Curling Custard Gel

Dippity-Do Girls with Curls Gelee

HOW TO USE THE PRODUCTS:

• Start with the Herbal Essences Mousse. After your hair is combed and parted squirt a palm-full of mousse into your hand and rake through extremely wet hair.
• Second, apply a quarter-size dab of Kinky-Curly Custard into your hair and smooth it through. Take another bit of custard and rub your hands together. Use your moistened hands to scrunch the product in. Squeeze and pulse your hands together at the root.
• Third, grab a little of the Dippity-Do to coat the outer layer of hair. Begin scrunching again with your hands. This extra bit of gel will provide a greater amount of hold. Plus, this stuff smells amazing!
• Lastly, you will need to use the mousse once more. Just a dab will do. Squirt and then scrunch it all together. This last step is very effective.
• Air dry for thirty minutes, then diffuse on warm heat, high power until almost completely dry. (Don’t forget to dry your roots first, then the ends!) This is how you set those curls. The product combination mixed with the diffusing is key!

Holy Grail Curly Hair Tips:

• Experiment with the amount of product you use. You may need more or even less gel and mousse.
  
• Watch out for excess product around the root area. Too much gel may flatten your hair down.
  
• If you have dry hair, try using a leave-in conditioner before other products.
  
• Scrunch in each product separately.
  
• Use a cotton t-shirt to scrunch excess water from your hair This will also encourage the curls to shape into bigger clumps.
  
• Do not touch your hair while it is drying.
  
• When diffusing, start at the root. Save the ends for last.
  
• Fluff your curls with a pick to give more volume.
  
• Always make sure your hair is extremely wet before applying the mousse and gels.
