Thrive Mascara Review-Is This Stuff Magic?

Something amazing has happened! I am so excited to announce after several long years of trial and error; my search for the perfect mascara is over!

In this Thrive Mascara Review, you will find out exactly why Thrive is unlike any other mascara in this world (you won’t be disappointed!)

Here’s the deal.

Glamorous lashes have been all the rage lately. It seems 2019 was the year of flawless brows. Now we’re shifting into 2020, the year of long luscious lashes.

Mascara Problems…

Don’t you hate it when you splurge on a high-end mascara-then later realize it’s no better than the ten-dollar drugstore brand sitting in your makeup drawer?

Unfortunately, this scenario is all too common.

So what’s the fix?

There’s only one thing to do: keep buying and experimenting with multiple mascaras.

My Mascara Requirements:

Long-lasting (of course)-Mascara should keep my eyelashes looking good at least a solid 8 hours.

Smudge-proof-No raccoon eyes, please!

Water-resistant-An unplanned walk in the rain, itchy irritated eyes or even a few salty tears can trigger some of the worst mascara bleeds. I’m not taking any chances so I always reach for water-resistant mascara.

Easy to remove– I don’t (and I’m guessing no one else does) enjoy spending 20 minutes a night taking off makeup. This sucks, especially when you’re super tired and the only thing you want to do is crawl into your warm, cozy bed.

A wet consistency– Have you ever dipped your mascara wand into the tube and pulled out a dry, flaky brush? Ugh!! I need product on my wand, not flakes!

Long Lashes: This one is a no-brainer. Who doesn’t want long lashes, right?

Finally!

Most brands typically only meet two to three of these qualifications.

For a brief time I thought, I’m never going to find the perfect mascara.

Until…

One day as I was scrolling through my Facebook group (Magical Methods for Body and Beauty), I noticed a few ladies were recommending a brand I had never heard of, Thrive.

My curiosity peaked after looking at a few pictures and reading what they had to say about Thrive mascara.

Immediately, I began googling the brand and searching for more feedback. Well, well, well…

The reviews were mind-blowing! Thousands of women were bragging that Thrive mascara was giving them the length they could only dream of. Even the ladies who barely had any lashes claimed the mascara was working some serious miracles!

So, yeah, of course, I wanted to grab my wallet and get this thing going. However, I got lucky. Ipsy had previously sent out samples of Thrive mascara in their monthly subscription bags. Thankfully, my daughter had the Ipsy subscription. So like lightning, I ran into her mini Ulta store (her bedroom) and began rummaging through every tube of mascara I could find.

I thought, maybe, just maybe she would have a tube of Thrive laying around somewhere.

Less than a minute later, Oh yeah!! There it was! This must be my lucky day!

Then, it was time to experiment!

Honestly, I was doubtful at first. Would Thrive mascara live up to all the hype?

My Thrive Mascara Review

• Incredible length-Unlike most mascaras Thrive firmly grabs the lashes and spreads them into a fantastic fan of extremely long lashes!! It only took a few coats to get an insane amount of length!!

• The Wand– The wand has a nice sturdy grip. I had no trouble getting my entire lash covered with the product.

• Easy to Remove-It took zero effort to remove my mascara. Basically, Thrive comes off in tiny tube-like particles. (I don’t mean to go on and on, but I was shocked how well the mascara came off.)

• Key Ingredients– Not only does Thrive look amazing on your lashes, but it also benefits your overall lash health by including beneficial ingredients such as, Castor seed oil and Shea butter. These two ingredients will continue to impress due to their abilities to support lash health and length!

This stuff has to be magic!

At that point, I felt more excited than a 6-year-old on Christmas morning. I needed to tell someone about my revelation.

So, what did I do? I called my mother to share this exciting news.

Because she is a nurse, her days can be extremely long as well as strenuous. With that being said, maintaining a fresh face is a challenge. Eye makeup requires multiple clean ups and retouches throughout her shift.

I knew mom was as determined to find the perfect mascara as much as I was-which leads me to this next part.

Within no time she received her tube of Thrive Mascara.

Would her eyelashes survive a busy 12-hour shift? (This would be the ultimate test.)

What happened…

Not only did her lashes look beautiful (for over 15 hours) but the mascara surpassed all of her expectations. Unbelievable results! No smudges/smears or any retouches needed all day!

Tips for Application

• Be careful not to aggressively pump the wand in and out of the mascara tube. (this will prevent your mascara from becoming dried out) Try wiggling the wand side to side along the tube as you pull up.

• Use at least 2-3 coats for a more dramatic effect.

• Don’t forget about your bottom lashes!

• Remember to coat the inner and outer lashes (sometimes we miss these areas)

• Coat the back of your lashes. You will notice a major difference in the length and volume!

My Final Thoughts

For me to sit here and tell you Thrive mascara is worth buying would be an understatement. Whoever created this formula is my mascara hero!

For now, I will continue to buy and use Thrive mascara until something better comes my way. (I seriously doubt that will happen anytime soon.)
